Melkor

T-shirt design of Melkor from The Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkien.

Before he became Morgoth, before he destroyed the Two Trees of Valinor and stole the Silmarils he was called Melkor. In the beginning, I imagined him as a really childish character, like a younger brother, who tries to upset his siblings by eating their food or licking their favourite pets. A very very bad boy!

I made this t-shirt design for Gergő Gilicze‘s birthday because he is a great fan of the whole legendarium of Tolkien.
